I'm a former PUC student. Can I use the computers?
If an Alumni needs to use a computer on campus, they must contact the Office of Advancement also known as Alumni Relations (219) 989-4155. The staff in this department will verify the Alumni’s information and make a request from Operations-Information Division for a 1-year temporary User Id & Password. Operations can provide this within the day. The Alumni will be able to login to any open computer on campus with their User Id & Password. The Office of Advancement is located in Lawshe Hall room 322. Their telephone number is 989-2308 and their business hours are 8:00-5:00 Monday through Friday.
If a PUC Alumni only needs to use a computer for five to ten minutes, they can go to the Financial Aid office. They need to ask a Financial Aid staff member for permission to use the computer for five to ten minutes only. Also, Career Services has computers for Alumni to job search. They do not need a User ID and Password to use the computers in Career Services.
Also, if a non-active student needs to us a computer to work on course work, the student must work with the Department Head of the course work they are working on. The department will handle their request to use PUC computers.
