How do I get my staff email on my iPhone/iPod/iPad?
Please follow the steps below to add your staff (Exchange) email in to your iPhone, iPod and/or iPad. The iOS is standard across all Apple mobile devices.
1.) From the main screen on your iPhone, select the 'Settings' application (your application location could be in a different location).
2.) Press the 'Mail, Contacts, Calendars' button
3.) Press the 'Add Account...' button
4.) Press the 'Microsoft Exchange' button
5.)Fill out the following fields and then click 'Next'
- Email - This would be your @purduecal.edu address
- Domain - staff
- Username - This is your Purdue Career Account username
- Password - This is your Purdue Career Account password
- Description - You can type whatever you want in this field. It's simply a way to let you know which account you are viewing on the iPhone.
You have now completed configuring your iPhone to the Exchange server. You can now exit out of these screens and go to the 'Mail', 'Calendar', or 'Contacts' applications on your device to view the information on the Exchange server to verify it works.
Note: Whenever you change your University password remember to go into your account settings and update it or your account may get locked out.
