How do I request Audio Visual Equipment?
Audio Visual (AV) requests can be made by calling the Customer Service Center (Powers 216) at (219) 989-2888 option 2 or by email at firstname.lastname@example.org.
AV equipment requests for larger events, or events scheduled on weekends, need to be made two weeks before the actual event. That timeframe is required in order to coordinate AV resources.
For smaller events please make sure to make reservations at least a week in advance. Smaller AV requests (ex. media carts, projectors) should be made at least 24 hours in advance of the day needed.
In order to request AV equipment on the Purdue Calumet campus you will need to have the following information:
1. The name of the staff, faculty, or organization needing the equipment.
2. The type of equipment needed (media cart, flip chart, projector, laptop, microphone, etc.).
3. The location where the equipment will be needed.
4. The timeframe the equipment is needed for - date and time (ex. 9/28/2012 11:00am - 1:00pm)
